FAQ IGH

IGH is an as­so­ci­a­tion that pur­sues the goal of stan­dar­d­is­ing elec­tron­ic com­mu­ni­ca­tion in build­ing tech­nol­o­gy and pro­vid­ing nec­es­sary tools (pro­grammes) for prac­ti­cal use.

Com­pa­nies and as­so­ci­a­tions from the build­ing sec­tor can be­come mem­bers of IGH. The pre­req­ui­site for the use of IGH services and sys­tems be­tween sup­pli­er and cus­tomer is that the sup­pli­er (ven­dor) in each case is a mem­ber of IGH.

To en­sure a stan­dard­ised da­ta ex­change for the mem­bers, both on the ba­sis of the prod­uct cat­a­logues and in par­tic­u­lar on the ba­sis of the pro­cess­ing pro­ce­dures (en­quiries, of­fers, or­ders, etc.).

IGH mem­bers have to pay a one-time en­trance fee of CHF 1,500. The an­nu­al mem­ber­ship fee is CHF 4'000 ex­cl. VAT. In­di­vid­ual services are charged sep­a­rate­ly ac­cord­ing to the time and ef­fort key.

No trans­ac­tion costs are charged (process ex­change / or­ders, or­der con­fir­ma­tions).

• Rights: All mem­bers have the right to use the de­vel­oped stan­dards for the com­mer­cial and tech­ni­cal use of sales da­ta in­ter­nal­ly as well as in cus­tomer trans­ac­tions. They al­so have the op­por­tu­ni­ty to par­tic­i­pate in vot­ing, e.g. on projects, new mem­bers, etc.
• Du­ties: Mem­bers are sub­ject to the pro­vi­sions of the statutes, reg­u­la­tions, con­tracts and res­o­lu­tions of IGH. De­tailed in­for­ma­tion can be found in the statutes.

For the most part through the an­nu­al con­tri­bu­tions of the mem­bers as well as through in­di­vid­ual project-re­lat­ed con­tri­bu­tions for clear­ly de­fined services.

IGH services are al­ways free of charge for clients of IGH mem­bers.
